Second Loyola student robbed at gunpoint

A Loyola student was walking in an alley at about 5 p.m. Tuesday in the 6700 block of North Greenview Avenue when he was approached by two men, according to Loyola Campus Safety.

One of the offenders displayed a handgun and took several items of value from the victim and then both offenders immediately fled the scene, according to Campus Safety.

This follows a January 15 armed robbery of a student in the Rogers Park neighborhood.  A Loyola student was walking in the area of North Shore Avenue and Lakewood Avenue when she was approached by two men, one displaying a silver handgun, who demanded her money and cell phone, according to Campus Safety.

The student complied and the offenders fled the scene with her cell phone and money, according to Campus Safety.
