A woman and two men were charged Wednesday in the armed robbery of a jewelry store in Edgewater, which included tying up the store clerk. Here is the story from CBS-2 Chicago:

Three people were charged Wednesday in a daring  robbery of an Edgewater jewelry store earlier this week.

Palo Brown, 30, of the 2200 block of North Mobile and Paris  Starwalt, 23, of Matton, Ill., were each charged with three counts of armed  robbery. Felice Desilvia, 29, of the 2600 block of West Chicago was charged with  two  counts of armed robbery.

Police said the suspects acted like customers, tied up a  store  clerk and robbed  Bryn Mawr Jewelry Company just before 2 p.m. Monday in   the 1100 block of North Bryn Mawr Avenue. The suspects walked in the front door  of the store and later  out the back, police said.

“There was this guy, he ran out from the store,” said   witness Amir Ali, who works next door at a Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant. “I believe  he was an  employee and what I heard is that he was tied up to the chair. So he  ran  out screaming for help and stuff and there was a lot of police cars  over  here. There was police officers holding guns and stuff.”

The suspected robbers were captured within a mile of the  shop, and police said they recovered some of the merchandise. There was no  gunfire, and no injuries were reported.
