Uptown residents will soon be treated to a 24-hour oldies rock themed drive through with the planned construction of a new Sonic Drive-in.

The Chicago Tribune reports that the burger drive-in, featuring carhops, is planning a new outlet at Wilson and Kenmore avenues.

Groundbreaking is scheduled for Oct. 1, according to 46th Ward Ald. James Cappleman.
