The awards, which any family-owned business headquartered in Illinois is eligible to win, include a new award titled, the Dean’s Award, for a family business excelling in social enterprise.

The awards will be presented at a gala on Thursday, Nov. 21, at The Four Seasons Hotel-Chicago, according to the university.
