A dog was rescued from the icy waters of Lake Michigan in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood, Fox News Chicago reports.

Here is the story from Fox News Chicago:

A dog was rescued from the waters of Lake Michigan in the North  Side Uptown neighborhood.

The dog was reported in the water near 5133 N. Simonds Drive,  Fire Media Affairs reported. The animal was safely taken from the water.

The dog’s owner was on the scene, according to Fire Media, but no further  details were immediately available.
