Several people hurt in Uptown high-rise fire

The Chicago Fire Department is investigating a blaze in which several people were hurt after fire broke out in a Dumpster at an Uptown high-rise.

Several people were hurt and forced out into the cold after a high-rise fire in Uptown.
The fire started in a Dumpster in the 4600 block of North Sheridan Road just before 9:30 p.m. on Monday.
Everyone was able to get out on their own, but four people were taken to local hospitals suffering from smoke inhalation.
They’re in good condition. One other person was treated at the scene.
Officials are still investigating the cause of the fire.
