Loyola offers free Thanksgiving meal for students

Not going home for the holiday?

Loyola University Chicago will be making a Thanksgiving dinner for students who will remain on campus over the holidays.  The meal will be held on Thanksgiving day from 11 a.m to 1 p.m in Lake Shore Dining, second floor of the CFSU.

Here is the invitation from the Loyola webpage:

On Campus for Thanksgiving this year? Find your home away from home with your Loyola family. Campus Ministry and Loyola Dining are teaming together to make a special Thanksgiving meal for our students who for whatever reason are not able to spend it with family, friends and loved ones.

The meal will include: Carving Station with Herb Roasted Turkey and Honey-Baked Ham; Vegetarian option by request of Stuffed Portabella Mushrooms; Corn Bread Stuffing; Mashed Potatoes and Gravy; Candied Yams; Cranberry Sauce; Green Beans; Steamed Broccoli; Corn; Salad Bar; Carrot Salad; Apple Waldorf Salad; Potato Salad; Cheese and Crackers

Passed desserts to include: Pumpkin Pie, Apple Pie, Pecan Pie, Brownies, Ice Cream

The meal is free. Students can RSVP here.
