Loyola University Chicago’s Life After Innocence will be hosting a night of live music from the Exoneree Band, as well as complimentary beverages and light hor d’oeuvres. The event will take place this Thursday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. with an encore performance at 8 p.m. at Regents Hall in Lewis Towers.
The Exoneree Band is made up of five members who have served a combined total of 87 years in prison, some on death row, for crimes they did not commit. Life After Innocence advocates for wrongfully convicted people adversely affected by the criminal justice system, helping them reenter society and enabling them to reclaim their rights as citizens.
Admission to the concert is free and donations are accepted. To learn more about Life After Innocence, make a donation, or to RSVP to this event visit the Rock for Innocence webpage.
