An 84-year-old woman was struck and killed by a minivan as she crossed a street in the West Rogers Park neighborhood, authorities said.

The pedestrian was identified as Ilchwa Abraham, of the 6700 block of North California Avenue, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. An autopsy is scheduled for today.

Abraham was walking in a crosswalk near the intersection of California and Granville avenues at about 5 p.m. Monday when she was struck by a Kia Sedona traveling north on California, Chicago police said.
