Chicago police are questioning two young boys caught with Molotov cocktails in Rogers Park.
Here is a portion of the story from CBS-2:
Police are questioning two young boys who were caught Monday night with homemade explosives in the Rogers Park neighborhood.
The boys were walking in the 6800 block of North Ridge Boulevard – near Pratt Boulevard – around 8:15 p.m. Monday, police said.
Authorities say the boys – one of whom was just 11 – had suspected Molotov cocktails. Police confiscated beer bottles full of a liquid suspected to be gasoline, and cloth wicks stuck in the tops.
Officials say the boys also had a lighter.
No damage was reported. No juvenile charges had been issued against the boys as of Tuesday morning.
