Loyola University Chicago softball coach Missy Beseres and staff will conduct a series of softball camps this winter for girls in grades 7th-12th. Each session will be $50, all two hours in length. The girls will have the opportunity to ask questions and play with current Loyola players.
Here’s the story from Loyola Ramblers:
Loyola University Chicago’s softball staff, under the direction of head coach Missy Beseres, will hold Rambler Softball Winter Hitting Camps this year at Gentile Arena (6511 N. Winthrop Ave.). Camps are open to girls from 7th thru 12th grade as well as junior college players for a cost of $50 per session. The Rambler Softball Hitting Camps are scheduled for 9-11 a.m., on January 8, January 15, January 22 and January 29.
Campers will have the opportunity to work with college players where they will have the opportunity to meet, interact and practice with current Ramblers and ask questions to learn more about the game.
Last spring, Beseres guided the Ramblers to the Horizon League regular-season title, their fifth in the last 11 years, and was named League Coach of the Year. In addition, five Ramblers earned All-Horizon League honors in 2011.
