‘Tis the season for Joyola!, one of Loyola’s most popular events of the year. Get in the holiday spirit with student musicians as they perform secular seasonal hits and jazz variations. Friends and family can come together over perennial favorites like “The Christmas Song” and “Greensleeves,” while modern classics like Richard Roger’s “My Favorite Things” from The Sound of Music will bring cheer to all.
A $5 suggested donation will be collected at the door of the event. All proceeds benefit Harmony, Hope, and Healing, a Chicago area charity. The organization’s therapeutic music programs are a means of healing for the victims of poverty, domestic abuse, homelessness, and the isolation of aging.
