Loyola lists parking restrictions during move in week
Posted by loyolastudentdispatch on August 25, 2011
Students are moving back to campus this week at Loyola University Chicago, and Inside Loyola has the scoop on parking restrictions during move in:
Move In
During move-in, usage of the Main Parking Structure on the Lake Shore Campus will be restricted and available to only Discover Loyola guests and students who are moving in (and their families). During this time, faculty and staff members should park in the Fordham Garage and the Albion Lot (located on Albion Street, near the train tracks).
Because parking is limited on the Lake Shore Campus, we encourage you to take public transportation on August 24 and 25, and to also remember that parking facilities will fill up early during move-in.
As a parking alternative, The Morgan garage (located across from the Granada Center) is also open to the Loyola community at a rate of $4 for up to 10 hours.
If you have any questions, please contact parking services at lscparkingservices@luc.edu or 773.508.7036.
Asphalt Work
On Thursday, August 25, asphalt repair work will occur in the Lawson Lot. The work will require the University to barricade the exit lane and gate for a few hours. During this time, one of the entrance gates will be opened to allow for exiting of the lot. Facilities will be on site to assist with the arrangements.
Questions can be directed to Parking Services at 773.508.7036 or lscparkingservices@luc.edu.
