A 20-year-old Rogers Park man is being held on a $200,000 bond after being charged with criminal sexual assault for allegedly having sex with a 13-year-old girl he met on the Internet, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Nicholas Nowotnik, whose alias Nick Theodore also was listed in court records, allegedly met the girl in an Internet chat room and arranged to meet her April 6 for sex in his basement apartment in the 1900 block of West Pratt Boulevard, the Tribune reports.

The girl told her friends about the encounter, and rumors eventually reached her mother, who notified police, prosecutors said. Nowotinik was arrested Saturday at his home, the Tribune reports.
