Critic loves performance, hates chapel acoustics

William Ferris Chorale

The good news is that noted music critic John von Rhein loved the William Ferris Chorale performance Saturday night at Loyola University Chicago’s Madonna della Strada Chapel.

The bad news is, von Rhein, classical music critic for the Chicago Tribune, hated Madonna della Strada’s acoustics.
