Woman shot in grocery robbery in Rogers Park

A 45-year-old grocery clerk was shot during an armed robbery in Rogers Park on Tuesday night according to Fox News.
 
Here are the details from Fox:

At 9 p.m. an armed man entered the Ridge Touhy Grocers, 7127 N. Ridge Avenue and took an unidentified amount of cash from the register before firing one shot at the 45-year-old woman and fleeing on foot, according to police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro.
The woman who was working there at the time, was once shot in the arm and taken to Saint Francis Hospital, the officer said. As of early Wednesday she has been released.

The assailant was not in custody, according to Alfaro who did not have a description of the suspect.

Belmont Area detectives are investigating.
