Two teenage boys playing on the roof of the vacant Edgewater Medical Center are hospitalized after an apparent electrical transformer explosion, Fox News Chicago reports.
The electrical fire happened about 8:30 p.m. in the 5700 block of North Ashland Avenue, according to Fox News Chicago.
One child was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital and the other to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, suffering trauma from the electrical blast, Fox News Chicago reports.
