Here is the story from TribLocal:
Lemont High School senior Vicki Wrobel has committed to play women’s volleyball at Loyola University Chicago beginning in Fall 2011.
She is the third Lemont senior to finalize her plans to play college volleyball next year, joining Courtney Keefe (Bradley University) and Becca Brabec (Clarkson University).
A four-year starter, Wrobel was a key factor as head coach Chris Zogata’s squad enjoyed the program’s most successful stretch ever during her career.
In four varsity seasons, Wrobel helped the Indians to a 120-26 record, four IHSA Regional titles, three South Suburban Conference-Blue Division crowns, and two IHSA Sectional runner-up finishes. Lemont won at least 30 matches each season from 2007-09 – including a school-record 33 contests during her freshman year in 2007 and went 47-1 in SSC play in four campaigns.
Wrobel dished out 2,131 assists in her career, despite sharing time at the setter position her first two seasons. She led the squad in service aces each of her final three years, and landed 193 aces in her career. She also collected 426 digs and 64 blocks over four seasons, and ended her career as a .456 hitter.
