Man stabbed in YMCA near Loyola’s downtown campus

During a verbal altercation, the female resident stabbed the male resident, according to YMCA spokeswoman Anne Bergquist.
The man was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital to be treated for his wounds, but his condition and where he was stabbed weren’t immediately known. The woman was taken into police custody, Chicago Breaking News reports.
The Lawson House facility is the largest single-room occupancy supportive housing facility in the Midwest.
