Man falls onto L tracks at Howard Street station

Service resumed this morning on the Howard Street Red Line stop after a man fell onto the northbound tracks, Chicago Breaking News reports.
Chicago police and paramedics received a call about 6:33 a.m. alerting them to the situation at the Howard Street station. The power was shut off while crews worked to rescue the man from the tracks, Chicago Breaking News reports.
Preliminary reports said the man, described as in his 40s, appeared to be unconscious. He was taken in stable condition to Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, Chicago Breaking News reports.
As of 7 a.m., service had resumed on the Red Line.
