Man shot near CTA Red Line in Rogers Park

A man was in surgery Tuesday morning after being shot near a CTA Red Line station in Rogers Park, the Chicago Sun-Times is reporting.
The man was shot about 5:15 a.m. on the 1300 block of West Morse Avenue, according to Rogers Park District police.
As of 8 a.m. he was in surgery at Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, the Sun-Times is reporting.
His condition was not known immediately and no one has been arrested, according to police. The shooting occurred just a few doors down from the Morse Red Line station, according to the Sun-Times.
