In honor of Arbor Day, the Loyola community is coming together to vote in an online contest.
The Arbor Day Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring people to plant, nurture, and celebrate trees, has proposed a competition between Loyola University Chicago, Georgia Tech, and Wheaton.
By either voting online or texting “treevote Loyola” to 313131, students, staff, and the rest of the Loyola community can do their part in helping Loyola win $2,500 in fruit trees.
The fruit trees will be planted around campus for the enjoyment of everyone.
